What started as a shared passion between two dreamers has grown into an international jewelry brand cherished by customers across the world. And now, thanks to the love, encouragement, and special requests of our American customers, we are delighted to begin an exciting new chapter:

Meet Hicran – The Creative Heart of MadamLili

Behind every MadamLili collection is a woman who believes that beauty, philosophy, and individuality belong together.

Hicran, our founder and creative visionary, was born in Germany and carries a rich cultural heritage rooted in ancient Anatolia.

Her journey into jewelry design was anything but ordinary.

With a background in business administration and years of experience in banking, Hicran eventually followed her true passion: creativity, fashion, and the art of meaningful design.

She pursued her interests at London's renowned Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion, exploring the worlds of fashion, design, and innovation.

Her intellectual curiosity also led her to study philosophy, developing a deep appreciation for thinkers such as Jean-Paul Sartre, Ludwig Wittgenstein, and Emil Cioran.

For Hicran, jewelry is deeply personal.

A necklace can preserve a memory. A gemstone can symbolize strength. A vintage-inspired locket can hold the photograph of someone whose love stays with us forever.

Jewelry becomes truly beautiful when it means something to the person wearing it.

Inspired by nature, history, art, and the extraordinary diversity of human experiences, Hicran creates designs that celebrate individuality, freedom, love, and the beauty of being yourself.

One of her greatest joys is connecting personally with customers, hearing their stories, understanding their wishes, and helping them find pieces that feel uniquely theirs.

Meet Elba – The Mind Behind the Magic

Every creative dream needs someone who knows how to turn inspiration into something lasting.

That is where Elba, MadamLili's co-founder, comes in.

With an academic background in Asian and European history, including advanced research at the master's and doctoral levels, Elba brings a fascinating perspective to the brand.

His passion for ancient civilizations, historical craftsmanship, and the beauty of past eras helps shape MadamLili's distinctive character.

While Hicran brings imagination and artistic vision, Elba contributes historical inspiration, analytical thinking, and the organizational expertise that keeps the business moving forward.

Together, they share a simple belief:

How It All Began – A Dream Born in 2008

The MadamLili story began in 2008 when Hicran and Elba decided to combine their love for accessories, history, and beautiful design.

In 2009, their vision officially became a business.

By 2010, MadamLili had opened its first workshop and welcomed its first team members.

What followed was an exciting journey across Europe.

By 2011, MadamLili was attracting customers in countries such as France, Norway, and Poland. In 2012, the brand was officially registered and its first retail store opened.

As the years passed, MadamLili collaborated with European boutiques and established retailers, earning recognition for its distinctive, vintage-inspired jewelry.

In 2014, the brand became a top seller on Germany's DaWanda marketplace and a bestseller on France's A Little Market.

In 2015, MadamLili launched its own online store with approximately 500 designs, opening the door to even more customers around the world.

Through every milestone, one thing remained unchanged: our love for creating jewelry that brings happiness, meaning, and beauty into everyday life.
